Itanagar, Nov 26: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Itanagar and Department of Youth Affairs, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh organized a Padyatra Rally to commemorate Constitution Day, celebrating the adoption of the Indian Constitution on November 26, 1949.
The rally, which began at Akashdeep and culminated at IG Park, Itanagar, covering a distance of 2 km, was attended by about 500 participants from NSS, Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy, NCOE-SAI Chimpu, officials and staff from Department of Sports. 
Floral tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Preamble Reading led by Ajay Mishra, SLO, NSS, Cultural dance performance on patriotic theme from NSS were some of the highlights of the event. The Chief Guest for the event was  Gumnya Karbak, Director, Sports Authority of Arunachal Pradesh.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by C Dangmei, DYO, NYK Itanagar.
