ITANAGAR, Jun 16: A 5-day Comprehensive Training for State Level Master Trainers was held from June 12 - 16, at the conference hall of Chief Electoral Officer, Nirvachan Bhawan, Itanagar. The training which covered all aspects of the election process, was attended by 33 State Level Master Trainers from 22 Election Districts and the CEO’s office.
Interacting with the participants, Chief Electoral Officer,Padmini Singla, urged the participants to make maximum use of training and clear their doubts from the resource persons so that they can further impart effective training to all the District Level Master Trainers and Assembly Level Master Trainers of the State.
Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Liken Koyu mentioned that officials must be suitably trained to have free, fair, error-free, and credible elections. Therefore, apart from training at the state level, all 33 master trainers will also be further trained in Delhi at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management from June 19-22 next.
