Dr Murthy said if the Ministry wants to promote/expand community radio stations, they should open CR cells in state capitals with the help of DIPRs, especially in  Northeast as connectivity is a major issue in the region and interested parties may find it difficult to seek clarification from Delhi offices and suggested that young entrepreneurs can be given short duration training on various aspect of managing CR under Skill Development Programme of GoI. along with  special financial assistance through NABARD for KVCs and NEC.  SMART PR
