ITANAGAR, Jun 4:  Debeyar Circle Development Committee(DCDC) has sought the intervention of the state government to complete the 19km long  Seppa-Sagalee BRTF Road to Seba Village, which has been pending for more than 11 years.
Speaking to the reporters at the press club, Chairman DCDC, Shankar Kino said that Stage –II of the said road project was sanctioned in the year 2010-11 and accordingly the tender was also floated in November 2011. "Now more than  eleven years later the said road is neither completed nor any maintenance has been carried out," he said.
Kino also alleged that some portions of the road constructed earlier by the executing agency are below standard. A representation has been already submitted to the Chief Secretary for his intervention on the said road project, he added.
The committee also appealed to the authority to  direct the construction agency to re-construct the road with proper black topping as well as to constitute an inquiry committee to investigate the undue delay in completing the project within a week's time.
