ITANAGAR, Aug 22:Arunachal Pradesh College Teachers’ Association (APCTA) observed ‘Black Day’ today in solidarity with All India Federation of University and College Teachers’ Organization (AIFUCTO).

All 17 Government Colleges of Arunachal Pradesh observed the day holding sit-in dharna and wearing black dresses and black badges. The black day was held to protest against the Ministry of Human Resources Department (MHRD) and the Central Governemnt for the inordinate delay in implementing the 7^th UGC Pay Revision Recommendations and other 10 demands of AIFUCTO.
