PASIGHAT, Nov 15: The much-anticipated ceremonial release of the society registration of the Alumni Association of J N College, Pasighat, took place today at the Conference Hall, Upper Campus, in a grand and memorable event. The occasion marked a significant milestone in fostering a stronger bond between the alumni and the institution.
The event was graced by Tojir Kadu, MLA of 36 Nari-Koyu (ST) Assembly, who attended as the Chief Guest. Dui Pading Gao, a prominent figure in the community, honoured the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Their presence underscored the importance of alumni associations in contributing to the growth and legacy of educational institutions.
Dr Tasi Taloh, Principal of J N College, and Dr Leki Sitang, Vice Principal, were among the distinguished attendees, alongside senior faculty members who have been instrumental in shaping the institution's academic and cultural ethos.
In his address, Tojir Kadu emphasized the pivotal role alumni play in the holistic development of their alma mater and the community at large. He encouraged the association to undertake initiatives that would contribute to societal welfare and institutional excellence. Smt Dui Pading Gao commended the alumni's efforts in establishing the association, highlighting its potential to serve as a bridge between past and present students.
Dr Tasi Taloh expressed his gratitude to the alumni for their unwavering support and urged them to continue their active involvement in college affairs. He also highlighted the achievements of the college and its alumni, reiterating the institution's commitment to academic and professional excellence.
