ITANAGAR, Aug 6:Civic charges collection from households and commercial establishments formally started from August 1 last. The collection of civic charges is for collection of garbage on door to door basis through NGO.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu also gave his civic charges to the IMC staffers today and asked them to work hard to maintain cleanliness in the city.
Itanagar Municipal Council’s CMEO, Habung Lampung informed in order to keep the city clean the civic charges collectors have been directed to issue Challan to those who throw garbage haphazardly and owners of homes or establishments before which heap of garbage are found will be directed to appear before the court of CMEO cum Executive Magistrate for imposition of penalty.
