ITANAGAR, May 29:In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, the All Arunachal Border Students Union (AABSU) has called for immediate appointment of independent director for department of interstate affairs with permanent office building to tackle border related issues.
It also sought intervention of CM in creation of the pending 977 of 3rd bath of APPBN while claiming that administration (A/R) has already been cleared by the cabinet in 2010 but the posts were never advertised till date.
Further it also urged him to appoint a local panel advocate at Supreme Court of India specially to deal with disputes related to interstate boundary dispute.
