Khandu inaugurates Arunachal Niwas, fourth facility in New Delhi

ITANAGAR, Aug 23: Chief Minister Pema Khandu launched the website and logo of Paralympic Association of Arunachal at the Civil Secretariat, Itanagar today.
The meeting was attended by Abu Tayeng, Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs, Tadar Appa, Director Sports, Gumnya Karbak, Director Sports Authority and Paralympic Association of Arunachal (PAA) long with other dignitaries.
Techi Sonu, General Secretary, Paralympic Association of Arunachal has urged to the state government for separate funds to be allocated annually to organize Para-Sports activities and also to review the State Sports Policy to include Para-Sports facilities such as jobs, infrastructure development, training etc. He further urged to set a road map to participate in the Los Angeles Paralympic Games 2028.
Khandu has appreciated the activities of the Paralympic Association of Arunachal and assured to support all possibility to promote the State Para athletes.
