SEPPA, Jun 30: The East Kameng District Administration and Urban Development Department, in collaboration with various NGOs have launched a 3-day social service today which will conclude on July 2 next under the banner “Clean Seppa Drive”. Along with Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Rana various officers, officials, NGOs, CRPF and public joined the social service.
Tarh Hachey, EE UD, informed that the Material Recovery Facility (MRF), which was sanctioned by the Government since 2019 could not be constructed since past 2 years due to various hurdles from public in land acquisition process. As there was lack of MRF, garbage was not lifted on regular basis. However, with the intervention of Minister Mama Natung, MLAs and others, a land was donated by one Sajo Rimo for construction of the facility at Pampoli. The MRF centre has been completed recently and the department assured to lift the garbage on regular basis.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Centre at Pampoli.
