ITANAGAR, Dec 26: The Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan today felicitated the top six winners of the essay competition organised on the occasion of Children's Day on November 14 as part of the Arunachal Rising Campaign. The winners were felicitated with a certificate, trophy and cash award of Rs. 3000 each. The students of higher secondary schools of Capital Complex had participated in the competition.
The DC congratulated the winners and expressed hope that they would continue their hard work and excel further in state-level competitions. Encouraging all the winners and participants, he said that participation in co-curricular activities would impart holistic learning in students. He further asked them to maintain the winning spirit and work hard with sincerity and dedication which would eventually lead them to achieve higher goals in life.
The DDSE also asked the students to work hard with sincerity and dedication.
Earlier, DIPRO in his speech had briefed about the Arunachal Rising Campaign which is an initiative of the State Government to disseminate information of major state and central flagship programmes at the grassroots  level. Various activities are being carried out in this regard by the District Administration and the Department of Information and Public Relations including the essay competition which was held all over the State.
