Roing, Apr 21: A marathon as part of the Children’s Sports Festival was organised today for the children of Nani Maria Children’s Home and Specialized Adoption Agency, Roing by the District Child Protection Unit, in collaboration with Nani Maria Society. The sports festival has been initiated by the Ministry of Women and Child Development and NIPCCD under Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav celebrations.
The race was flagged off by Ahondo Menjo, a Professional MTB rider from the district who had participated in State, National and International level competitions and N. Meto (PO, DCPU) Roing. 20 participants from Nani Maria Children’s Home and Specialized Adoption Agency participated in the 3km race.
