ITANAGAR, Apr 7: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) has taken Suo Moto Cognizance of the alleged food poisoning case in Christ Care Public School, Yangte, Kra Daadi District on 28th March. More than 40 students suffered from headache, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and vomiting due to food poisoning which led to the death of one girl child in the instant case.
In this regard, the APSCPCR constituted a two-member committee, comprising Yahung Tekseng and Ngurang Achung. The committee members visited Palin and Yangte on April 5&6 and conducted inquiry on the case and interacted with the school staff, parents, students, medical officer and Investigating Officer of the case.
