Itanagar, Sep 5: The first meeting of the Empowered Group of Secretaries (EGoS) for PM Gati Shakti- National Master Plan for multi-modal connectivity, Arunachal Pradesh was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dharmendra today.
The meeting deliberated on mapping of 28 layers of various departmental initiatives and government projects which will be uploaded in the National Master Plan of the PM Gati Shakti. It was decided that the mapping should be done in mission mode and within 15 days the departments including Forest, Embankments, Roads, Water Supply Pipelines, Sewer Lines, Government Buildings-State, Central, PSU etc should finish the mapping and update the information on the Portal.
The meeting also prioritised the Annual Action Plan under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SACI) Part-II (PM Gati Shakti-related expenditure) for the year 2022-23 which included additional infrastructure at Donyi Polo Airport at Itanagar, Inter State Bus Terminal and Central Drug Warehouse at Naharlagun, PM Gati Shakti State Centre at Itanagar.
A detailed presentation was given by Secretary Planning N.T. Glow on steps to be taken to finalise State Master Plan under Gati Shakti .
Principal Secretary Finance Planning & Investment Dr. Sharat Chauhan, Commissioner PWD Kaling Tayeng, Secretary Power AK. Bisht, Secretary Planning N.T. Glow, Arun Pinjare, Director (DPIIT) cum Nodal Officer (Gati Shakti) for Arunachal Pradesh, Arvind Pandey, Director (DPIIT), and other members were present in the meeting.
