CHANGLANG, Jan 20: Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Changlang district kicked off today here at the District Hospital in presence of Deputy Speaker, State Legislative Assembly Tesam Pongte, MLA P. Khimhun and officials.
Briefing the reporters, DC Dr Devansh Yadav informed that on the first day at least 112 frontline workers including health workers, nurses and doctors will be vaccinated. “The vaccine will be distributed to Miao, Bordumsa and Jairampur CHC and the target is to vaccinate at least 400 frontline workers in the entire district on the first day itself,” he added. A team of doctors and nurses have already been posted at Vijoynagar for vaccination, the DC divulged. 
The Deputy Speaker informed that after completion of vaccination of frontline workers, the vaccine will be made available for common people very soon.
“There is no need to worry or be afraid to get vaccinated as the Covid-19 vaccine has been made by a trustworthy company,” he assured while appealing to the people to get the vaccine without hesitation, reminding the necessity to observe all existing SOPs.
