ITANAGAR, May 4:The department of telecommunication, government of India has finally posted a high ranking telecom officer of the rank of Deputy Director General (DDG) for Arunachal. This was possible due to the constant effort from Chief Minister Pema Khandu to have a dedicated high ranking officer from the DoT to fast track the telecom services in the state.
CM has roll out a robust telecommunication mechanism to realise the PM’s vision of Digital India campaign in Arunachal and the DDG’s stationing at Itanagar is a positive move in this direction.
The DDG will be stationed at Itanagar and will look after the telecom issues and also will coordinate with different agencies including private operators. He is likely to join by June next and will be beneficial for the state.
