Pune, Jun 24: The Centre has announced awarding of a new RCS Helicopter Route – “Daporijo-Dibrugarh-Daporijo” under UDAN 5.4 bidding, which has been awarded to Pawan Hans Limited for operation by an 11-seater Helicopter with 3-days a week frequency. This RCS Helicopter Route will provide dedicated air connectivity for the people of Upper Subansiri and Kamle districts of Arunachal Pradesh for travelling to Dibrugarh at cheaper fare for educational, medical and other purposes and also to avail connecting flights to the rest of the country. 
This was announced by Union Minister of Civil Aviation  Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu 
on Tuesday at the 7thSmall Aircraft & Helicopter Summit organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) at Hyatt Regency, Pune, Maharashtra.
Director Civil Aviation Starlie Jamoh along with Asstt. Director (Tech), Civil Aviation, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Priyam Borthakur also attended the event.
The Summit provides a common platform for all stake holders related to aviation industry to discuss Civil Aviation issues with a view to strengthening the aviation sector with an effective roadmap for unlocking the potential of the Helicopter & Small Aircraft Industry.
