Itanagar, Jul 6:  The central team comprising Dr Mahesh B Dale, Central Nodal Officer and Dr SS Vittala, Technical Officer took stock of the progress of the ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the rain 2022 under the Capital Itanagar.
The team, accompanied by EE(WRD) Er Techi Topu Tara on Tuesday visited various sites in Itanagar like Ganga village, Bhaat village etc. They also carried out awareness on the importance of water conservation and water rejuvenation along with plantation drive at various locations. They had also visited Ganga Lake( Gyekar sinyi) under Amrit Sarovar.
The team also visited the Jal Shakti Kendra at the Office of the EE Water Resources Division Itanagar. In a debriefing session with the DC Talo Potom today, the team discussed their observation and also discussed various measures required for water conservation in the Capital Region.
