Daporijo, Oct 17: The District level committee for National Coordination Centre for Drug Control (NCORD) meeting was held here in Daporijo.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Upper Subansiri District Tasso Gambo, where Deputy SP Gamli Loyi Nodal Officer for NCORD, President Tagin Welfare Society Larji Rigia, Principals, Head Masters of schools and institutions and stakeholders also participated. 
The DC urged the community based organisations and stakeholders to cooperate wholeheartedly with the Police and District Administration to eradicate drug menace permanently.
He stressed that sharing reliable information with coordination and monitoring on regular basis of drug activities would help to nab drug peddlers at grassroot level.
Dy SP Gamli Loyi, the Nodal Officer for NCORD briefly placed the action taken report on drug menace in the district and sought full cooperation from the public  especially mothers to come forward for the larger interest of the community and the District. DIPRO
