ITANAGAR, Apr 8: The traffic wardens of the ICR were handed over complete uniform sets that included shoes and raincoats by Capital Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom in a function today in the capital.
Appreciating the hard work put forward by the traffic wardens throughout the year, the DC urged them to discharge duties with same zeal and motivation, adding that the District Administration has tried to provide best quality uniforms for ensuring comfortability while on duty. He also discussed the grievances raised by them and assured that the same will be pursued from his end. Capital SP Jimmy Chiram who was present in the event urged them to perform duties with sincerity and maintain personal hygiene and fitness. Later, the DC visited the Fire Station and interacted with the officials. The SP briefed him about ‘112’ which can be dialled by the denizens for police, fire and emergency services.
