NAHARLAGUN, Aug 6:Capital Police today recovered an unidentified dead body of a woman from Papu Nallah bridge area of Naharlagun at around 1 AM. Suspected to be a hit and run case, police has kept the body at the RKM Hospital morgue for identification.
SDPO Naharlagun, Make Bui said that it is a case of road traffic accident (RTA) and the women succumbed to her injuries at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS) Naharlagun. ‘It looks like the deceased belonged to the working class and the body has been kept at the morgue of the RK Mission Hospital for next 72 hours for identification,’ he said. A case has been registered at Naharlagun Police Station wide case no-109/17 u/s-304 (a) IPC.
