ITANAGAR, Jun 24: The  Capital Police today observed International Day against Drugs and Illicit Trafficking at Police station Itanagar. IGP (L&O) Chukhu Apa , SP-ICR, Jimmy Chiram and other officials including students attended the event.
Attending the event as resource person,  Advocate, Secretary-General, APWWS Kani Nada Maling dwelt on the social impact of drugs use on women & children. Dr T. Kena, Psychiatrist TRIHMS on briefed on the impact of drug abuse on physical & mental health. Several others speakers also dealt with various topics on the issue.
A documentary on Drug Abuse by Itanagar Capital Police was also released.
