ITANAGAR, Apr 17:  After conducting investigation for almost a month, capital police finally arrested two persons involved in arson and looting of Takar Complex on February 23 & 24  last.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SDPO, Naharlagun  R Kamsi, Officer In-charge, Naharlagun M Geyi, Investigating Officer L Buni under the supervision of Superintendent of Police, Capital Complex  T Amo arrested  Techi Santa and Tarh Kasa from different locations on April 14 & 15.

From the CCTV video footage and  photographs the duo was seen actively leading the mob in rampage, informed the SP. He also revealed that his team had also nabbed at least six youths on February 27 last in connection to the same case and recovered many shoes and clothes looted from Takar Complex and also one telescope looted from G Extension Arms shop. All the other accused will also be arrested soon, the SP assured. ES Newsdesk
