Itanagar, May 23: Since the implementation of COVID Curfew in the Itanagar Capital Complex, the Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Talo Potom has been taking stock of the availability of essential commodities, LPG and other important issues from time to time. He has been convening series of virtual  meetings with the Corporators , Administrative Officers, Home delivery firms, LPG distributors etc  seeking their cooperation for successful implementation of the COVID curfew as well as to ensure that essential items are being delivered to the public without any inconvenience. Today, in a meeting with all the Directors of various Government departments of ICC, the DC enquired regarding supply of essential commodities and LPG and also asked  them to ensure that their staffers aren’t facing  inconvenience with regard to the same and also to bring to his notice if there is any shortage as such to which the Directors assured that the essential items are being delivered smoothly.
Few issues regarding movement of officials etc were discussed to which DC assured to look into the matter.
The DC has also appealed the denizens to stay home and to follow COVID appropriate behaviour. He also assured that every possible steps and measures are being undertaken by the District Administration to make LPG and other essential items available through home delivery systems.
