Itanagar, Nov 10: The Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar, Talo Potom along with the ADC Shweta Nagarkoti felicitated the CBSE toppers of class X and XII of the government schools of Capital Itanagar for the academic session 2021-22, today. 
The toppers were handed over a laptop each along with a certificate. 
The DC wished his best to the students and hoped that the effort of the state government would provide motivation to the students to do better in life. He urged them to work with sincerity and dedication to achieve success in life.
The ADC also lauded the effort to recognise the performance of the students which would go a long way in motivating them to pursue their dreams further. 
SDO Capital Datum Gadi and DDSE, ST Zara also handed over the laptops and certificates to the students. 
Earlier Kime Lasa, BEO informed that the state government has initiated to reward the district toppers of class X and XII of government schools of each district of the state with an aim to recognise the hard work and success of students of government schools and to bring them at par with the performance of other schools.
Among the toppers from class X who were felicitated were Sonia Borah from GHSS Itanagar, Kayali Baunthial from GHSS Naharlagun, Master Pushpak Jha from GHSS Naharlagun, Karsang Yapi from GHSS Itanagar, Joram Niya, Sartam Yanu and Biki Tutu all from GSS Nirjuli and Jikke Yanik from GSS G sector. 
Among class XII toppers were Sonia Komut GHSS Itanagar, Dangi Riang from GHSS Ganga, Biri Yachu from GHSS Naharlagun, Hage Moniya from GHSS itanagar, Tagru Api from GHSS Itanagar, Nuja Tapak from GHSS Naharlagun, Jumla Yardung from GHSS Naharlagun and Kara Gania from GHSS Naharlagun.
