Itanagar, May 18: The Itanagar Capital Complex administration performed the last rites of a 40-year-old man who died of Covid-19 today at the cremation cum burial ground, Chimpu. 
The seven-year-old old son of the deceased lit the pyre as per their religious ritual.
EAC Datum Gadi along with Lo to DC, ICC Sanjiv Chakraborty and their team members carried out the rites as per the wish of the family members who were also present.
All the required formalities were carried out before final funeral was carried out by the District Administration.
