ITANAGAR, May 4: SLSA girl’s football team defeated KV- 2 Itanagar girls football team by clean 11 goals in the ongoing CAPF Oorja U-19 football tournament played here today at Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA) Chimpu, organized by ITBP.
Whereas in the second action-packed match in boys’ category played between CC Club and SLSA, the latter thrashed its opponent by 1-0 goal.
Meanwhile in the third match played on the same day, West Siang defeated East Siang by 3-0 goals and in another girls category match, Lohit Team (Tezu) clinched the game by scoring 2 goals against East Siang Girls football team.
OSD to Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Komjum Riba, Director Sports and Youth, Tadar Apa also witnessed the tournament as Chief Guest for the different matches.
