ITANAGAR, Feb 22:

 

 Much awaited vehicle parking lot located at the bustling Bank Tinali area of the state capital here was finally inaugurated today by Urban Development, TP & ULB Minister Nabam Rebia. The parking lot has been named after former Minister Techi Takar who was also a social worker in recognition of his services to the people.

 

Speaking to media persons, Rebia said it was a long felt demand and would help minimise the parking problem at the busy Bank Tinali area which is one of the most congested area of the capital.

‘There is need of many such parking lots in the capital complex. The Urban development as well as IMC is working to ease the problems of traffic and others which are being considered in phase manner,’ he said.

Rebia also informed that there is an immediate need of a parking lot near Civil Secretariat which would be considered shortly. ‘The officers of the UD department have been directed to explore the possibilities of some more parking
