NAMSAI, Sep 12:Namsai is all set to host a first of its kind convention on preservation, promotion and propagation of Buddha Sasana at Kongmu Kham (Golden Pagoda) at Noy Chenam (Tengapani), Namsai from September 16 next.

The convention is being jointly organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Bhikkhu Sangha and the general public of the district in order to promote and propagate the Theravada Buddhist Teachings.

Bhikkhu Sangha, Heads of villages, NGOs, Student’s, Youth organizations etc are expected to participate.
