Yingkiong, Jul 5: A new Bailey Bridge with enhanced load capacity of 4OR was launched today on the Ditte-Dimme-Migging  Road,  where earlier on June 19 last, an 80-feet Bailey Bridge with a load class of 18R had collapsed.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) informed that parts  were collected from various locations to launch  the bridge in record time of five days. This achievement is due to the extraordinary courage shown by 'Karmayogis' of 105 RCC under 761 BRTF, Project Brahmank, it said in a press release.
The team was led by OC, Obing Taki and under her guidance OIC, Bhawana Joshi and team members put great efforts to achieve this task. The team was ably supported by AEE, Aman Kumar, JE (Civ) Rana Shyam and dedicated CPLS, all Karmayogis of Project Brahmank.
The renewed connectivity will not only alleviate the hardship faced by road users but will also fulfil strategic needs of Security Forces, the BRO said.
This road plays a crucial role in facilitating troops movement and serves as a vital link to the remotest village in Upper Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh.  DIPRO
