PASIGHAT, Apr 23: In a joint effort to crackdown on prevailing drug abuses in the district, the Mebo police with the support and coordination of Women Against Social Evils (WASE) activists raided a place at Mebo, Romdum town on Thursday and arrested four youths and seized drugs. WASE has appealed women, especially the mothers to come forward and join in the fight against drug abuse instead of leaving the task on WASE and police only.
