Guwahati, Oct 10: The second regional committee for Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border of Biswanath (Assam) & Pakke Kessang (Arunachal Pradesh) was held at Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara, Guwahati.
Assam Minister for Water Resources, IPR, Prl Affairs, Social Justice & Empowerment cum Spokesperson, Pijush Hazarika with his Arunachal counterpart Mama Natung, Minister, Env, Forest etc are the chairman of the regional committee for these two districts. 
The committee after deliberations has unanimously agreed upon few resolutions to be submitted to respective state government.
Apart from ministers, Pakke Kessang MLA Biyuram Waghe, DC Tayek Padu, DFO  VK Jawal, CO Dissing Passo B Padu from Arunachal Pradesh and Shantanu P Gotmare, Commissioner & Secy AR & TPPG & Commissioner Barak Valley Division, Dasrath Deka Consultatnt, Border Protection & development, Prafulla Ch Sarkar ACF, Sonitpur East Division, Biswajit Saikia, ADC Biswanath from Assam Government attended the regional meeting.
