ITANAGAR, Jun 17: Boni Mangkhiya won the second bronze medal for Arunachal Pradesh at the 1st Khelo India India Youth, Junior and Senior National Ranking Women Weightlifting tournament being played at Bagwan, Himachal Pradesh from June 14-22.
She won the medal by lifting Snatch: 71Kg, Clean and Jerk 90Kg and total of 161Kg.
Earlier, Mangkhiya won a bronze medal in the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and has set a national record by clinching two gold medals in the last National Youth Weightlifting Championship in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
