Bomdila, Aug 12: Over a hundred athletes from across Arunachal Pradesh and neighbouring Assam participated in the Bomdila Mini Marathon-2023, organized under the theme --Say No to Drugs and Say Yes to Sports--by the Student’s Association of Government Degree College, Bomdila today. Kaling Tayeng, Principal Secretary of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, was the most senior participant. The marathon was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner West Kameng, Akriti Sagar. The District Administration provided logistical support for the event. While appreciating the organizing team, Sagar assured that the marathon would become a yearly event for the district.
The top three winners received cash prizes of 20,000, 15,000, and 10,000 respectively. Additionally, the top ten winners were each awarded a cash prize of 1,000. (DIPRO)
