TEZU, Jun 30: Nearly 15 days after she had gone missing,  the body of 17-year-old Dolly Wangsa was recovered by police on June 29. Dolly had disappeared on June 14 last from Tezu. Her belongings like scarf, umbrella and bag were recovered on the same day in an isolated area of Tezu Nalah.

When contacted, Superintendent of Police Dr W Thungon informed that the body was recovered from Lohit River near, Tibetan Refugee Camp on June 29 last. “Today the body was sent for conducting Post Mortem and following procedure, the body has been handed over to the family,"  he added. 

 Investigation will continue and we have collected specimen which will be forwarded to the CFSL for forensic examination to rule out any foul play. asserted the SP. 

Earlier, police has constituted a 15-member team to carryout search and rescue to trace the missing girl.  On June 19 last, family members also sought assistance from everyone to help in locating the missing girl.
