Namsai, May 19: A blood donation camp was organized by the Marwari Yuva Manch, Tinsukia Branch, in association with Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai, at the university campus on Friday with the WHO theme of ‘Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often’.
Dr. Ashwani Lochan, Chief Patron, Prof. D. S. Hernwal, VC, AUS, Prof. Shantanu Bandopadhyay, Principal, School of Pharmacy, AUS, Vikash Kejriwal, President, Marwari Yuva Manch, Tinsukia Branch and other dignitaries of both the institutions were present in the occasion.
In his speech Dr. Lochan, highlighted the importance of blood donation and debunked myths associated with blood donations.
