ITANAGAR, Jun 2: State BJP Spokesperson Techi Necha addressing a  press conference here at press club today said that eight years of BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been successful in fulfilling the aspirations of the common man.
Similarly, in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, the government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu is also committed to fulfilling the party pursuit of ‘Seva, Sushasan and Gareeb Kalyan’ (welfare schemes, good governance, and welfare of the poor).
Necha, added that the Khandu government has so far managed to bring tremendous development in the field of road and air connectivity, healthcare, education and security in the state.
He said, while most of the districts are being connected with better roads, there are few highway projects which are in progress. Likewise, hospitals in the state are now equipped with better equipment and other facilities.
“Few districts are now availing air connectivity and soon the much awaited Greenfield Hollongi airport will also be functional in public service," he added.
Meanwhile, party chief spokesperson Dominic Tadar said that PM Modi has been leading the country since 2014, and has ensured that the government is fulfilling every need of the people in his eight years of public service.
The abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir, construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, better healthcare and pandemic management, ensuring farmer’s welfare, women empowerment, empowering youths and economic reforms etc are few of the achievements of the BJP government till date, he said.
“Likewise, in context of the Northeast states, the Modi government has integrated the states by signing peace agreements with various insurgent groups, built land and air connectivity for better communication and also in terms of national security,” he said.
Tadar also spoke about the national security and foreign policy under the BJP government citing the example of rescue operations under Operation Ganga and Operation Rahat.
