ITANAGAR, Jun 11:The BJP  capital unit organised   ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’  at forest park located at Niti Vihar this morning.

During the cleanliness drive the members cleaned the entire park premises including choked drains. Meanwhile members took part in a plantation programme and also cleaned the statue of Mahatma Gandhi.

Speaking on the occasion, President BJP (State) Tapir Gao briefed that the programme is part of the four year celebration of the Narendra Modi led BJP government at the Centre and smooth functioning of the Pema Khandu led government in the state.

‘Government is for the people and the Pema Khandu led government is functioning smoothly with support of all stakeholders,’ Gao said while seeking continued support for all round development.

Among others, Minister RWD Bamang Felix, local MLA Techi Kaso, BJP capital district President Tarh Soping, ,former Deputy Chief Councillor Tarh Nachung and other karyakartas participated in the event.
