Itanagar, Aug 20: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh unit successfully conducted a one-day organisational workshop (Pradesh Sangathanatmak Karyashala) today at the DK Convention Centre, Itanagar.
The workshop focused on strengthening party organisation, enhancing coordination among BJP karyakartas and elected representatives, and discussing strategies for effective grassroots-level outreach. It was attended by State Office Bearers, Ministers, MLAs, chairmen,  Vice-Chairmen and Spokeperson of various departments, District Presidents, and Mandal Presidents.
The inaugural session was addressed by Kaling Moyong, President of BJP Arunachal Pradesh, and Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister. The welcome address was delivered by Tadar Niglar, State General Secretary of BJP.
In his presidential address, Kaling Moyong emphasised the importance of discipline, unity, and commitment to the ideology of the BJP. He highlighted the party’s vision for the state, aligning it with the broader developmental agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister Pema Khandu in the State. He underlined the need to build ideology-based leadership at the grassroots level. He also appealed to all District and Mandal Presidents to resolve issues at the district level without referring minor matters to the state office.
Chowna Mein, in his address, stressed the need for such workshops to be held regularly to strengthen party activities and programmes. He informed the gathering about the interactive sessions, training modules, and discussions on organisational structure, communication, and upcoming political programmes. He also highlighted the importance of educating the people of Arunachal Pradesh about the state’s history and how the BJP-led Central Government has given special importance to the rich heritage of Arunachal, including its deep connection with Lord Buddha and the 6th Dalai Lama.
The workshop modules included discussions on the formation of organisational structures from state to booth level, distribution of roles and responsibilities among karyakartas and senior leaders, regular touring, narrative building, countering opposition propaganda narratives through social media and media platforms, Panch Parivartan, and review of organisational activities.
The workshop also witnessed participation from distinguished national-level resource persons, including V. Muraleedharan, BJP National Northeast Coordinator; Lata Usendi, BJP National Vice President and MLA from Chhattisgarh; and Ashok Singhal, Minister in the Government of Assam and In-charge of BJP Arunachal Pradesh.
In the concluding session, Chief Minister Pema Khandu addressed the gathering, urging party workers to dedicate themselves to the growth and strengthening of the BJP in Arunachal Pradesh.
The one-day workshop concluded with a collective call to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and to continue serving the people of Arunachal Pradesh with integrity and commitment to Viksit Arunachal Pradesh and India.
