ITANAGAR, Aug 30: Arunachal Pradesh BJP condemned China in the strongest terms for depicting Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin in the standard map 2023, as their territory terming it 'uncalled for and unethical'.
Spokesperson of BJP Arunachal Pradesh, Techi Necha said that repeated Chinese claim over Arunachal Pradesh as South Tibet and their territory is unbecoming and habitual. Arunachal Pradesh has no historical and political connections with the Peoples Republic of China, since the ages. Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of Indian Union and will always be Indian Territory, without any dispute, he said. Necha said that Central Government has rejected these claims as they have no basis and lodged a strong protest through diplomatic channels with the Chinese side on the so called 2023 “standard map” of China that lays claim to India’s territory.
