Wakro, Sep 9: The Anu Shiksha Seva Trust celebrated the International Literacy Day by offering the Beena Ghose Roy Academic Excellence Award to the best performer among APST students appearing for the Class X CBSE examinations from the Wakro Govt Secondary School. Simran Awasthy and Brig Arun Awasthy Commander of the Dau Delai Brigade handed over the award to Anilu Tamai, a student of Govt Hr Secondary School Tezu. 
Deepthi Kurup and Col Sandeep Kurup, SM, CO of the 4 Madras Regt also interacted with Anilu and girl child Badenglu Tayang. The simple award ceremony was conducted in the sidelines of the Maharajke Day, the battle honours celebration of the formidable 4 Madras Regt of the Indian Army.
