PANGIN, Oct 29: A series of awareness camps on EVM and VVPAT held at various locations of Pangin and Kebang Circle in Siang District which started on October 22 last concluded today at Yemsing village.
The 8 days programme commenced with a training programme for all administrative officers, other officers and staff at Pangin under the overall coordination of EAC (Election), DC Office, Kamin Darang.
This was followed by a series of awareness camps at Pangin, Tarak, Komsing, Kebang,  Rottung and Yemsing village where AERO-cum-CO Kebang, Philip Jerang along with staff imparted awareness on voting rights and various other aspects of elections to the general public. Practical demonstrations on the usage of EVM and VVPAT were also given.
Altogether 16 villages apart from Pangin township area were covered under this extensive awareness exercise.
