PASIGHAT, May 29: An awareness program against drug abuse was organised by WASE mothers in collaboration with East Siang District Police at Namsing village in Mebo Subdivision on Friday. WASE Team was headed by General SecretaryJoya Tasung Moyong. Police team comprised of Dy. SP Probationer Chera Saban APPS, Insp Abraham Taying and SI Aditya Chandra.
The program witnessed active participation from across genders and age groups. The villagers resolved to work hand in hand with the agencies which are fighting drug menace in society. They assured sharing of important inputs regarding illegal activities related to drugs.
