Namsai, Jul 30: Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) celebrated a proud moment as its student, Chow Rajing Mungyak, clinched the Gold Medal in the Single Deadlift event at the Indo-Nepal Yuva Series 2025, held recently in Nepal.
Competing in the 53 KG Junior Weight Category, Chow lifted 180 kilograms, securing the top podium position in his category.
“We are proud of Rajing. His achievement not only showcases the rising potential of youth from Arunachal Pradesh and Northeast India in competitive sports but also reflects AUS’s commitment to holistic education where academic excellence is complemented by a strong focus on physical fitness and personal growth”, said Dr. Dr. Ashwani Lochan, Chairman of Arunachal University of Studies.
