WAKRO, Aug 28: The Anu Shiksha Seva Trust celebrated ‘Ajai day’ observed in honour of Brig Ajai Prakash every year, by offering financial assistance to a special child with physical disability and an elderly woman who needed medical assistance for surgery.
An affectionate elder and distinguished member of the Indian Armed forces, Brig Ajai Prakash who was formerly the Commanding Officer of the 7th Garhwal Rifles and Commander of the Lohit brigade had reached out to scores in need of assistance during his stint as Commander of an Infantry brigade. He closely interacted with locals and social leaders impacting innumerable young minds and encouraging social welfare immensely. Brig Ajai Prakash had conducted several free medical camps for the people in many places and had taken keen interest in promoting education and development of youth in rural Arunachal. ASSET expressed gratitude to  Brig Ajai for the love and care extended to the people of the area spanning years despite retiring from military service several years ago.
