KHONSA, Jul 22: The Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles in conjunction with Tirap police is conducting a massive pre-recruitment training camp for registered candidates of Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) for various posts, who are willing to join the security forces.
The training camp was widely advertised and about 100 candidates registered to undergo the pre recruitment training that would enhance their chances of selection.
The camp will be conducted over a duration of three weeks. It will train candidates for the physical as well as the written tests. The camp would also entail checking the candidates’ documentation and basic medical screening for a hassle free selection process.
It is noteworthy that the battalion has been proactively involved in motivating the youth of the region and has instituted meaningful and holistic nation building measures that will go a long way in weaning the youth away from anti-national activities and established peace in the insurgency infested area, a DIPRO report stated.
