CHANGLANG, Jun 29: The Assam Rifles organized a tree plantation drive in old Rangran village of Changlang district. The primary objective of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining a healthy ecosystem and to promote a greener and cleaner environment.
Local villagers actively participated in the plantation drive, joining forces with the Assam Rifles troops. A total of 450 saplings were planted during the drive, contributing to the efforts of creating a more sustainable environment.
The villagers expressed their appreciation for the Assam Rifles' initiative in motivating them to keep the environment clean and green. The collaborative effort between the villagers and the armed forces demonstrated a shared commitment to environmental preservation and fostered a sense of unity within the community.
