KHONSA, Aug 2: The Assam Rifles conducted mock entrance test for Sainik school aspirants at Govt higher secondary school, Lapnan on Tuesday.
The mock test was part of a series of tests planned by the Assam Rifles to facilitate the selection of aspiring candidates. The mock tests for the aspirants from all other schools within Khonsa have been scheduled in the upcoming days.
A total of 13 students attended the mock test. The test was helpful for the aspirants to understand their level of prepration and to further motivate them to push harder for fulfilling their ambition.
This is the first of a series of screening tests that the unit plans to conduct in the schools in it's area of responsibility. The selected students will be further trained by the Khonsa Battalion to hone their skills for the final entrance exam later this year.
