ITANAGAR, Feb 10: Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC) has expressed dissatisfaction over the second consecutive meeting with Home Minister Bamang Felix on its 13-point charter of demands related to the APPSC Cash for Job scam.
“We are not satisfied with today’s meeting," said Chairman PAJSC Techi Puru while speaking to the media after attending the joint meeting of AAPSU, ANSU and members of PAJSC with Home Minister Bamang Felix at the Civil Secretariat on Friday. Puru said, there is no new development from the meeting; our presumption was that today we will get a final resolution from the state government, but there were no new points that would convince the aggrieved aspirants.
The aspirants body said the state government showed a PowerPoint presentation about the steps taken by the  authority for the reformation of APPSC, Whistle Blower Act in process, and the termination of a few officials. However, they failed to give a logical conclusion today, said Puru.
We knew that nothing will happen in today’s meeting also, indeed we have also asked for minutes and action taken report earlier too, but as of now we have got nothing, so it must be delay tactics, added Puru while responding to questions from the media.
Member-PAJSC Tadak Nalo stated that they are firm on their charter of demands and won’t step back from it. "We have also tabled our points that, why the government is desperate to appoint a new committee for APPSC when an investigation is still incomplete, such divide and rule policy is condemnable," added Nalo. He said the crux of the issue wasn’t discussed in the meeting. We still stand on our charter of demands including the arrest of Chairman Nippo Nabam, Judicial Probe, ED investigation, Null & Void of examination, and others, asserted Nalo
He further added that the issue is not related to only aggrieved aspirants but the future of the state.  We will go ahead with our scheduled protest cum meeting to be held at IG Park on February 11.
