LEKHI, Mar 15: The 4-day ‘AU Fest-2023’ of Arunodaya University (AU) got underway here on Wednesday on a spectacular note amidst a gathering of students, faculty and staff members.
AU Fest is an annual art, literary, cultural and games & sports event where students of the university are given a platform to show and develop their skills.
AU Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr VN Sharma, who declared the event open, exhorted the students to harness their hidden skills and develop one’s personality. “AU Fest is a calendar event of the university to celebrate the talents of the students. Use this opportunity to the fullest to develop your personality”, he said while asking the students to participate in all the competitions with sportsmanship spirit.
Divided into four houses, named after four major rivers of Arunachal Pradesh – Siang, Subansiri, Kameng and Lohit – the students will be participating in various sports, literary and cultural events during the four days.
